Bifrost Productions Incorporated was established in 1992 for the purpose of providing audio recording services to nonprofit performing arts organizations and producing programs for Public Broadcasting. Granted nonprofit, 501(c) (3) status by the Internal Revenue Service in 1993, Bifrost Productions has recorded The Cape May Music Festival for over ten years.
Performances by groups such as The New York Chamber Ensemble, Bay Atlantic Symphony Orchestra (under the direction of Jed Gaylin), The Canadian Brass, The Cape May Music Festival Orchestra (Under the direction of Stephen Rogers Radcliffe) have come before our microphones. Many of our recordings were broadcast on National Public Radio's Performance Today and Weekend Edition.
Bifrost Productions also produced the radio drama America on Trial. This award-winning program series re-enacted famous court trials where the verdict came to affect our everyday lives. Our program, Planned Parenthood Vs. Casey, was broadcast on public radio stations nationwide.
Our most recent recording was a concert given by the Cellests of the Philadelphia Orchestra. This concert is slated to be broadcast on WHYY FM radio. WHYY is the premer public broadcasting station in Philadelphia, PA. WHYY is the home of NPR's Fresh Air with Terry Gross and Radio Times hosted by Marty Moss-Coane heard nationwide on Sirus Satellite Radio.
